Abimbola Ojenike is a lawyer and social entrepreneur. He’s the Co-founder at The Destiny Trust, a social intervention focused on education, care, and empowerment for underserved children. The Trust offers sustainable education solutions for homeless out-of-school children, including residential learning centers and an expansive edtech project for Africa’s out-of-school children. He also launched an accelerated education school to provide an alternative pathway for Nigeria’s over-age children (10-18 years) excluded from the conventional system. The Trust supports the education of 1000 children annually and empowers them with tech and arts skills.
Abimbola co-founded Helpcentral, a social impact tech company that won the I4C Africa Social Innovation Challenge in 2021. He leads The Justice Project, an access to justice and tech-based pro bono clearinghouse. As a lawyer, he advises on tech, finance, IP, and regulations, supporting enterprises, governments, and emerging growth companies. Abimbola is recognized as one of the 40 Under 40 lawyers by the Nigerian Legal Awards. He holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Ibadan and an LLM in International Financial and Commercial Law from King’s College London.
