Professor Christine Loh is Chief Development Strategist, Institute for the Environment, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. She is also Visiting Professor, Anderson School of Management, UCLA. Dr Loh is a former legislator and government minister in Hong Kong. She serves on numerous international boards and advisory bodies related to the environment and philanthropy.

Practice of a reviewed concordance democracy and good governance
Allowing institutions both domestic and international to function without inteferences.
Relook at equality and justice globally.
A revolution of industrialisation and terms of trade.
Acceptance of all walk of life in harnessing skills for development.
Avoidance of meddling and engagement in wars to gain global recognition and acceptance.
Just to mention but a few
I came to the USA some 50+ years ago as an immigrant alien recruited, along with scores of other educated young foreign engineers, from esteemed countries in Europe, from Iran, from India, and from Russia (as examples only). To realize Pres. J F Kennedy’s stated goal of putting a man on the moon before 1970.
I experienced the unrests of summer of 1968,and remember more than one incident that stays with me. Like coming to L.A. to fulfil a dream to visit Disneyland. Staying overnight at a local motel, our Mustang 1967 was broken into and most all of lucggage and travel goods was stolen. A cop was called for a report, he came on a HD-MC and the police radio was left on. In the shorthe stayed to listen to our story we, my wife and I, could here the police radio was reporting yet two more local shootings. He had heard about our broken dreams for a real nice days, and he turned to my wife to say Happy Birthday. Being the reason for us coming to L.A. – to celebrate my wifes 25thbirthday.
There is always a tomorrow, that we humans can do something about, and there is a yesterday which we can’t change. The USA is, again, far off the good track, and need a totally new leadership and new goals to beset. Clean out,and start over again.

“Is America Finished?”
It is much easier to say than to believe; because to express themselves, anyone can speak; but to believe it, only those who have deep convictions can believe in something…
That said, should we take everything that is said here and there seriously about the United States of America? Should we reduce a deep conviction to a simple opinion or thought on a cyclical situation of fait accompli?
Before answering these questions, it is important to return to the concept of “rational reasoning” in order to properly structure the analysis on consistent facts and not on assumptions, allegations or accusations charged free of charge on the basis of thoughts or personal feelings.
Thus, to understand the concept of “rational reasoning”, it is obvious to place oneself rationally between the notion of truth and the notion of logic. Because, truth is not necessarily logic and vice versa.
Also, all truth is only a relative fact and not absolute, since it does not constitute an absolutely irreversible reality. For example, there is always a tendency to give reason to the weakest and the smallest in an argument between a large person and a small person. This reasoning may be logical, but it is not an absolute truth or an irreversible reality.
It is in the wake of this philosophical scheme that we can interpret and situate all this political desperation on the United States of America. This does not mean that the U.S.A is completely innocent on all fronts, but the big guys also have the right to defend themselves …
From this, we can understand certain excesses of the United States of America in its political behavior with the rest of the world (certain lobbies, media and classic secret services extremists).
But this does not diminish the vital and beneficial role they played in the stability of the World during the Cold War and the periods when they asserted their rights as the first World Leader and de facto World Arbitrator or Constable.
Must we remind the world that the first State that has resolved to deal with international terrorism is undoubtedly the United States of America. And whatever one says about George Bush Junior, it turns out that he was the one who openly declared the war on international terrorism, at a time when the whole of Europe had tended into complacency and carelessness…
With the advent of Globalization and the prospect of the New World Order, the things have changed politically, economically and security. Which left a free way to all the other great world powers to claim this strategic and important role of world leadership.
This situation had degenerated into an invisible military war between certain great powers, under the guise of military and civil wars in certain Arab countries, for the defense of the monopoly of this role of World Leader (world policeman) and, from there, for the realization of the Unipolar or Multipolar World System.
International public opinion has not heard about this invisible war between world superpowers and the majority of countries has not really understood what happened after the 2008 financial crisis.
Today we are faced with the fait accompli of this same state of war between these same superpowers for the same reasons and objectives. But, in addition, we must count with this invisible enemy that everyone designates him through the Covid-19.
The solutions already exist, if there had not been these dark forces of mass destruction who want to monopolize the destiny of this World. Because some great powers and third countries had understood the vital importance of a Unipolar System, based on a Government (or a structure) world and on political subsystems constituted by pivotal States and Emerging Countries.
But for this Unipolar World System, which enshrines the New World Order, to be able to enter into force quickly and expeditiously, every State in the World must participate by ensuring that all these civil and military wars and this international terrorism end and that the situation in the United States of America does not turn into a civil war and a generalized anarchy which will have repercussions, systematically, on all States of the World…

1 / To begin, it must be admitted that the United States of America remains the biggest world power number 1 on all fronts (military, security, economic, technological, financial, geostrategic, etc…)
If we take in consideration only the telecommunications satellites, the technological arms and the big technological media which control the World in all sides with their advanced technology.
2 / America had stopped investing in itself from the moment when politicians became puppets in the hands of the dark forces and lost their notoriety, their effectiveness and the grandeur of their political vision to the future of the Human Nation.
3 / The United States of America have all the means to raise the great challenges and save themselves and with them the rest of the World. Because, they have the Virgin Islands which is only asking to be inhabited, they have the biggest democratic system, the biggest universities and the most efficient judicial system in the World.
Also, they have the most powerful economy in the world, if you take into account that China has an economy of which a third (1/3) or more is informal and illegal. Thus, with all these assets, the U.S.A can rebuild its economy and create many successful businesses & companies with the creation of new cities and repopulating certain Islands.
On the other hand, the weak point of the United States of America remains its social system, which is not equitable in the distribution of wealth. And, also, they must need to put their social system in order (certain extremist sects).
4 / The United States of America can easily take up the challenge by promoting the establishment of this New World Order, through the implementation of a Unipolar System and of a world Government (or Structure) which favors and promotes the consecration of the human values, the rule of law and the human rights.
From this political perspective, the Tällberg Foundation has a great role to play in establishing an open, rational, peaceful and constructive international dialogue.

« L’Amérique est-elle finie? »
Il est beaucoup plus facile de le dire que de le croire ; car pour s’exprimer, n’importe qui peut parler ; mais pour le croire, seuls ceux qui ont des convictions profondes peuvent croire en quelque chose…
Ceci dit, faut-il prendre au sérieux tout ce qui se dit ça et là sur les Etats-Unis d’Amérique ? Faut-il réduire une conviction profonde à une simple opinion ou pensée sur une situation conjoncturelle de fait accompli ?
Avant de répondre à ces questions, il est important de revenir sur le concept du « raisonnement rationnel » pour bien structurer l’analyse sur des faits consistants et non pas sur des suppositions, des allégations ou des accusations imputées gratuitement sur la base de pensées ou sentiments personnels.
Ainsi, pour comprendre le concept du « raisonnement rationnel », il est évident de se situer rationnellement entre la notion de vérité et la notion de logique. Car, vérité n’est pas forcément logique et vice-versa.
Aussi, toute vérité n’est qu’un fait relatif et non pas absolu, puisqu’elle ne constitue pas une réalité absolument irréversible. Par exemple, on a toujours tendance à donner raison au plus faible et plus petit dans une dispute entre une grande personne et une petite personne. Ce raisonnement peut être logique, mais ce n’est pas une vérité absolue ni une réalité irréversible.
C’est dans le sillage de ce schéma philosophique qu’on peut interpréter et situer tout cet acharnement politique sur les Etats-Unis d’Amérique. Ceci ne veut pas dire que les U.S.A sont tout-à-fait innocents sur tous les plans, mais les grands ont aussi le droit de se défendre…
Partant de là, on peut comprendre certaines dérives des Etats-Unis d’Amérique dans leur comportement politique avec le reste du Monde (certains lobbies, médias et services secrets classiques extrémistes).
Mais cela ne diminue en rien le rôle vital et bénéfique qu’ils ont joué dans la stabilité du Monde durant la guerre froide et les périodes où ils ont fait valoir leur droit de premier Leader mondial et d’Arbitre ou gendarme du Monde de facto.
Faut-il rappeler au Monde que le premier Etat qui a résolu de faire face au terrorisme international reste indiscutablement les États-Unis d’Amérique. Et quoi qu’on dise sur George Bush Junior, il se trouve que c’est lui qui a déclaré ouvertement la guerre au terrorisme international, au moment où l’Europe tout entière avait versé dans la complaisance et le laisser-aller…
Avec l’avènement de la Globalisation et la perspective du Nouvel Ordre Mondial, les choses ont changé sur le plan politique, économique et sécuritaire. Ce qui a laissé la voix libre à toutes les autres grandes puissances mondiales de prétendre à ce rôle stratégique et important de leadership mondial.
Cette situation avait dégénérée en une guerre militaire invisible entre certaines grandes puissance, sous couvert des guerres militaires et civiles dans certains Pays arabe, pour la défense du monopôle de ce rôle de Leader mondial (Gendarme du Monde) et, de là, pour la concrétisation du Système Mondial Unipolaire ou Multipolaire.
L’opinion publique internationale n’a pas eu vent de cette guerre invisible entre des super puissances mondiales et la majorité des pays n’a pas compris réellement ce qui s’est passé après la crise financière de 2008.
Aujourd’hui on est devant le fait accompli de cette même situation d’état de guerre entre ces mêmes superpuissances pour les mêmes raisons et objectifs. Mais, en plus, on doit compter avec cet ennemi invisible que tout le monde le désigne à travers le Covid-19.
Les solutions existent déjà, s’il n’y avait pas eu ces forces obscures de destruction massive qui veulent accaparer la destinée de ce Monde. Car certaines grandes puissances et pays tiers avaient compris l’importance vitale d’un Système Unipolaire, basé sur un Gouvernement (ou une structure) mondial et sur des sous-systèmes politiques constitués par des Etats pivots et des Pays émergeants.
Mais, pour que ce Système Mondial Unipolaire, qui consacre le Nouvel Ordre Mondial, puisse entrer en vigueur rapidement et avec célérité, il faut que tout le monde participe en faisant en sorte que toutes ces guerres civiles et militaires et ce terrorisme international prennent fin et que la situation aux États-Unis d’Amérique ne bascule pas dans une guerre civile et une anarchie généralisée qui vont se répercuter, systématiquement, sur tous les Etats du Monde…

1/ Pour commencer, il faut bien admettre que les Etats-Unis d’Amérique restent toujours la plus grande puissance mondiale numéro 1 sur tous les plans (militaire, sécuritaire, économique, technologique, financier, géostratégique, etc…)
Ne serait-ce que pour citer les satellites de télécommunication, les armes technologiques et les grands medias technologiques qui contrôlent le Monde avec leur technologie avancée.
2/ L’Amérique avait cessé d’investir en elle-même à partir du moment où les politiques sont devenus des marionnettes dans les mains des forces obscures et ont perdu de leur notoriété, de leur efficacité et de la grandeur de leur vision politique quant au devenir de la Nation humaine.
3/ Les Etats-Unis d’Amérique ont tous les moyens pour relever les grands défis et se sauver eux-mêmes et avec eux le reste du Monde. Car, ils disposent des Iles encore vierges qui ne demande qu’à être habitées, ils disposent du plus grand système démocratique, des plus grandes universités et d’un système judiciaire des plus efficaces dans le Monde.
Aussi, ils ont la plus puissante économie dans le Monde, si on tient compte que la Chine dispose d’une économie dont le tiers (1/3) ou plus relève de l’informel et de l’illégal. Ainsi, avec tous ces atouts, les U.S.A peuvent reconstruire leur économie et créer beaucoup d’entreprises performantes avec la création de nouvelles villes et le peuplement de certaines Iles.
Par contre, le point faible des Etats-Unis d’Amérique, reste son système social, qui n’est pas équitable dans la répartition des richesses. Et, aussi, ils doivent mettre de l’ordre au niveau de leur système social (certaines sectes extrémistes).
4/ Les Etats-Unis d’Amérique peuvent facilement relever le défi en favorisant l’instauration de ce Nouvel Ordre Mondial, à travers la mise en œuvre d’un Système Unipolaire et d’un Gouvernement (ou Structure) mondial qui privilégient la consécration des valeurs humaines, de l’Etat de droit et des droits humains.
Dans cette perspective politique, la Fondation Tällberg a un grand rôle à jouer pour l’instauration d’un dialogue international ouvert, rationnel, pacifique et constructif.
