Mostafa Elnaby is a visionary leader in sustainable agriculture and waste management, making significant contributions to transforming systems towards sustainability. As the Founder and CEO of Baramoda, he has saved 6.9 million liters of irrigation water and collected 170,000 tons of waste on 8,142 acres. His composting approach provides eco-friendly alternatives to chemical fertilizers.
In addition to his work at Baramoda, Mostafa actively promotes sustainability through Environner. With over 500 volunteers and 300 waste management connections, he has created valuable Arabic resources, including 1,500+ articles and 100+ research papers. Mostafa has also developed value chains for five crops, identifying 50 investment opportunities that utilize recycled waste for economic growth and sustainability.
Raised in Qena Governorate, Mostafa’s agrarian background fuels his passion for sustainable agriculture and waste management. He is driven by a desire to make a positive impact. Mostafa has been recognized as one of the top 20 sustainability thinkers/practitioners in the MENA region by the Posterity Institute (2022). He has also received the Youth Social Entrepreneurship Award from Mentor Arabia (2022).
