ElsaMarie D’Silva (she/her) is the Founder of Red Dot Foundation (India) and President of Red Dot Foundation Global (USA). She created Safecity, a platform crowdsourcing personal experiences of sexual violence and abuse in public and private spaces globally. Launched in 2012, Safecity is now the largest crowd map on the issue in India and abroad. ElsaMarie also co-founded the Brave Movement, a coalition to end childhood sexual abuse globally, and Beyond Black, a social enterprise that uses art for social good.
Recognized by organizations like the United Nations and governments in India and Germany, ElsaMarie is a leader in gender advocacy. She has been a W7 advisor under both the German and Italian G7 Presidencies and is a Fellow of prestigious programs such as the Yale World Fellows, Reagan Fascell Democracy Fellowship, and Rotary Peace Fellowship. She is an alumna of renowned leadership programs from Stanford, Oxford, and the US State Department.
Prior to her work in the nonprofit sector, ElsaMarie spent 20 years in the aviation industry, where she was Vice President of Network Planning & Charters. She is also a published author and speaker, contributing to global discussions on gender, safety, and social justice.
