Matthew Carpenter-Arévalo

Matthew Carpenter-Arévalo is a writer, entrepreneur, and environmentalist based in Quito, Ecuador. Matthew holds a BA from St. Thomas University and a Master’s in Philosophy from the University of Oxford. Matthew was the recipient of the Rhodes Scholarship and the Global Leadership Fellowship from the World Economic Forum.  He has worked at Google and Twitter and founded and sold Centrico Digital, a managed marketing services firm. Matthew writes about technology, markets, and the environment and is currently the Head of Marketing and Communications for Rubicon Carbon, a financial firm focused on investing in climate solutions. Matthew’s writings have appeared in TechCrunch, TheNextWeb, and he maintains a regular Spanish-language column in Gk.City.
