Fajer Rabia Pasha is an innovative and highly experienced social entrepreneur, with over 21 years of commitment to advocating for girls’ education and societal reform. As the Executive Director of the Pakistan Alliance for Girls Education (PAGE), Fajer has been instrumental in the development of significant educational programs such as the Star Schools initiative, which has successfully set up 139 schools across Pakistan. She also leads the Aim High mentoring program, Pakistan’s first national girls’ mentoring initiative, and spearheads global advocacy efforts through partnerships with overseas Pakistanis in the UK, USA, UAE, and Canada.
Fajer’s expertise extends to policymaking and skills education reforms, having worked with international and national organizations, including the Sindh Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (STEVTA). Her leadership in the development sector has earned her several prestigious recognitions, including the SAWAIRA Award for services during COVID-19 and multiple honors from the Institute of Directors in the UK. Fajer also serves as the Secretary General of Hum Pakistan, focusing on youth engagement and entrepreneurship, and as a member of the Board of Trustees for the Pakistan Alliance for Early Childhood Education.
