Tomas Anker Christensen is since 2020 the Climate Ambassador of Denmark. He worked at the United Nations from 2012-2018 including as Assistant Secretary General and Chief of Staff to the President of the UN General Assembly, as Senior Advisor to the Secretary General on Partnerships and Climate Change, and as diplomatic advisor to the Special Envoys for Climate Action and the Ocean. Ambassador Christensen has served in a number of Senior Government positions, including as Denmarks Ambassador to Egypt and Iran.
