										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Vishakha Desai, US/India, is an Asia scholar with a focus on art, culture, policy, and women&#8217;s rights. Vishakha has served in various capacities at Columbia University, including as Senior Advisor for Global Affairs to the president, chair of CGT and as Senior Research scholar at SIPA. From 2004 to 2012, she was the President and CEO of the Asia Society. She is actively involved in various organizations, serving as the Chair of the Board of Trustees for AFS Intercultural Programs, a Trustee of the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation, and a member of the board of Directors for Teach for All. She is also part of the governing council of KREA, a liberal arts university in India, and serves on the Corporate Board of Mahindra &amp; Mahindra, one of India&#8217;s largest global corporations. Her extensive body of work includes publications and her memoir, &#8220;World as Family: A Journey of Multi-rooted Belongings,&#8221; was published by Columbia University Press in 2021.</p>

She is focused on a human centric approach to business growth, seeing culture and change as a force for creating sustainable, inclusive and diverse organizations with a higher social impact and business value.</p>
<p>Her most recent positions include Vice President of Global Alliances, Partnerships and Venture for Philips and Director of Corporate M&amp;A for Watson, AI, Software and Services at IBM.</p>
<p>Moneshia was responsible for the integration strategy and performance monitoring of over 60 acquisitions and divestitures into IBM, resulting in a patented end to the post-merger integration approach.<br />
Prior to focusing on Corporate Development, Moneshia worked in several disciplines including Management Consulting, Country Competitiveness Benchmarking and field research at Monitor/Deloitte in Venezuela, Japan and South Africa.</p>
<p>Since moving to Munich, Germany in 2018, she serves as interim-CEO at software as a service platform, Volunteer Vision. Their award-winning approach matches and trains professionals for leadership development with globally scalable guided mentorship and provides measurable KPIs on talent retention and societal impact.</p>
<p>Moneshia also founded toAccompany, a consultancy that uses design thinking to engage clients in transition as a Force for Good. Recent forums include Tech for Good, Reducing Food Waste, Sustainability/ESG and elevating the Employee Experience. She is a recognized expert in multi-stakeholder dialogue at the intersection of policy, business and individual action such as Fintech and Board Diversity.</p>
<p>Moneshia is passionate about connecting people in meaningful ways and collaborating to create solutions for complex problems. She believes we must shift from a zero-sum game approach, to a networked view of value creation by serving others and inclusively developing diverse capacities from the bottom up.</p>
<p>Moneshia holds a B.A in Economics from Smith College, USA and an MBA from Wharton, University of Pennsylvania and product development credit from INSEAD Fontainebleau, France.</p>
<p>She has two daughters and is active in youth empowerment and world citizenship capacity development, inspired by Baha’i principles.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Mads Schack Lindegaard, Denmark/Zimbabwe, is the Country Director of DanChurchAid (DCA) in Zimbabwe with over 20 years of experience in development and emergency programming across more than 10 countries, including five in Africa. He has led national and regional initiatives focused on climate resilience, biodiversity protection, and community-driven development.</p>
<p>Previously, Mads served as DCA Regional Director for East Africa (Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia) and for the Middle East and North Africa, overseeing multi-sector programs in food security, WASH, disaster risk reduction, and emergency response. He also directed DCA programs in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Albania, and Kosovo, covering areas such as landmine clearance, reconstruction, health, and civil society capacity building.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Sitawa Namwalie is an award winning Kenyan poet, playwright and performer known for her unique dramatized poetry performances which combine poetry and traditional Kenyan music to create performances. Her growing body of work includes “Cut off My Tongue,” performed in East Africa and at the Hay Festival 2009; “Homecoming” (2011), “Silence is a Woman”, (2014) and “Performing Nairobi: The Stories and Drama of a City”, two plays, “Black Maria on Koinange Street” and “Room of Lost Names” (2015).</p>
<p>Curator for photographic exhibition entitled, “Our Grandmother’s in Miniskirt” crowd sourced photographs and stories of Kenyan women from 1900 to 1980s.</p>
<p>2022 to 2026: Project Manager: The SHIZU African Children’s Historical Fiction Book Series proposes to produce 30 historical fiction books covering history from a range of African countries, in the next 3 years. The Storymoja SHIZU Historical Fiction Series is developing exciting fact-based historical fiction that taps into the growing need for African history written from an African perspective. Beyond entertainment, the SHIZU series will influence future generations by deepening their understanding of Africa, reconnecting African children to their roots and creating a generation of African children who are confident and certain of their place in the world.</p>
<p>Sitawa has worked with the United Nations and the World Bank. She holds a BSc. in Botany and Zoology from the University of Nairobi and an MA from Clark University in Massachusetts, USA. Sitawa has achieved excellence in many areas of life, including representing Kenya in tennis and hockey in her youth.</p>
