Mats Björkman is a partner of the law firm Setterwalls, Stockholm, which he joined in 1996. His practice focuses on corporate law, corporate finance and M&A, but he also gives advice on other commercial legal matters. Since 2007, Mats Björkman has acted as the legal adviser of Tällberg Foundation. He has previously also worked for the EC Court of Justice, Luxembourg (1997), the City Court of Stockholm (1993-1995), the law firm Allen & Overy, London (1995). Mats Björkman holds degrees from College of Law, London, College of Europe, Bruges (LL.M.), University of Stockholm (LL.M.) and Université du Droit, de l’Economie et des Science d’Aix-Marsielle. He is at present member of the boards of directors of the Paediatric Health Research Foundation at Astrid Lindgren’s Children’s Hospital, Cirkus Cirkör, Operainitiativet and Platina AB.
