Through dialogue and studies, the Tällberg Foundation translates analyses of emerging global patterns into inspiration for change.

At the heart of the Foundation’s activities lies the annual Tällberg Forum. Beyond the Forum, the Foundation continues to grow and develop and has evolved into an important ongoing open conversation on the wider issues facing business and society. It is increasingly involved in organizing programs and activities in Sweden and around the world.
Areas of our workThrough studies and dialogue, the Tällberg Foundation translates analyses of emerging global patterns into inspiration for change. It accomplishes this through activities in four main areas:
1. The Tällberg Process MeetingsAt the heart of the Foundation’s activities lies the yearly
Tällberg Forum in Sweden. The Tällberg Forum is an arena for reflection, conversations and the search for creative solutions, integrating both nature and the arts, where people feel free to step outside of their professional identity, to share doubts and new ideas, and to search for ways forward outside of established frameworks. It acts to stimulate the conversation on, and design solutions to, the problems of our times in order to foster new thinking and solutions.
People from business and finance meet people from politics, science, arts, international organizations and civil society on equal terms, and not as stakeholders. They come to talk, listen, reflect, question their assumptions, and gain the new insights that give them new responsibilities. For many, the Tällberg Forum is viewed as a natural extension of a highly respected Swedish tradition of internationalism, progress, intellectual curiosity, mediation and sustainability.
Besides the Forum, the Foundation also produces workshops, conversations and seminars throughout the year.
2. Tällberg Foundation Global StudiesThe process of analyzing the world and the trends that are shaping the future is part of the Foundation’s work. These activities include designing and running explorative learning processes, and preparing feasibility studies, reports and papers.
3. Tällberg Foundation Learning ProgramsThese programs aim to give leaders new insights and prepare them to better base their actions on a systems approach. Some programs are short and one-off such as learning journeys, or mobile workshops. Others are processes that gather larger groups for intensive reflective and pedagogic processes.
4. Tällberg Foundation Change Programs/Advisory ProjectsThis category includes assignments that the Tällberg Foundation receives from both public and private sector organizations to help them change their conceptual understanding of the operating environments in which they work.
Tällberg AwardsIn addition to its main activity areas, the Tällberg Foundation awards two prizes each year.
The
Tällberg Foundation Leadership Award recognizes principled pragmatists in the world who have turned their insights to strategies in their pursuit of results.
The other award, the
Tällberg Foundation Scholarship, goes to a young musician from the region of Dalarna. Dalarna’s folk music has been an important part of the Tällberg Foundation’s activities around the world since its inception. We take pride in being part of this rich cultural heritage.
