Rework the World, 2010 conference in Leksand and in Tällberg, Sweden.

Rework the World is a global initiative that seeks to mobilise young people around promising sustainable ventures and help take the emerging green economy to the next level. In 2010, at the Rework the World Summit, a number of rethinking workshops were woven into the event in the Tällberg Forum tradition. 

Open event: 18-19 August
"No more lullabies", Vitabergsparken, Sweden.

Den 18 och 19 augusti uppträdde flera av Sveriges mest intressanta och omtyckta artister i Vitabergsparken för att inspirera till samtal och tankar om jordens kritiska tillstånd och den roll vi som människor spelar. För det behövs ett nytt slags samtal – bortom politisk retorik, försvarsreaktioner och ekonomiska egenintressen.

"No More Lullabies" är ett långsiktigt projekt vars initiativtagare är Ane Brun och Johan Rutherhagen. Arrangemanget den 18-19 augusti arrangeras av Park Teatern och drivs i samarbete med Tällberg Foundation, med stöd från Norges ambassad.

Open event: 29 August 
In August 29, the Tällberg Foundation offered a full day of conversations about the future. The event "One day for the future" took place in Stockholm and was open to the public.

The event included conversations about the future as well as music, culture and nature in a hopeful, playful and knowledgeable mix on the islands of Skeppsholmen and Kastellholmen in the middle of Stockholm. The initiative was created and organized by the Tällberg Foundation in cooperation with the City of Stockholm, the Municipality of Leksand, the Carpe Vitam Foundation and Fryshuset.

"One day for the future" was an open invitation to listen to and participate in seminars and talks on the great challenges of our time - from early morning to late at night. It offered a total of 60 talks and seminars in ten different locations on the islands. The topics of the seminars touched on many areas, including: the future of jobs, sustainability, energy, nature, the new economy, entrepreneurship, innovation, the new China, future cars, future technologies, Stockholm in the future, what kind of Sweden do we want? In addition, a number of cultural and music activities took place outdoors and indoors.

"One day for the future" was part of Tällberg Foundation's continuous efforts to provide answers to the fundamental question "How on earth can we live together?”.

With the Library of Alexandria as hosts, “Youth entrepreneurship – making connections” a one-day network seminar was jointly organized by Tällberg Foundation and Swedish Institute (SI), as the end of a 3-day seminar for SI Young Leaders Visitors Program (YLVP).

Tällberg Conversation: 9 November
Tällberg Foundation in cooperation with the Swedish Institute hosted a conversation on “Leadership and sustainability in China and the World, in Beijing, China.

Tällberg Workshop: 30 November
Workshop in cooperation with Arbetsförmedlingen and Malmö Stad "Upprustning och omställning av miljonprogrammet en motor för integration, fler arbetstillfällen, företagande och grön tillväxt? Del 1", in Malmö, Sweden.

Tällberg Seminar: 1 December
The main speaker was Dr Nayan Chanda of the Yale Center for Study of Globalization. His talk was followed by a panel discussion on the theme “Can we agree to agree?” with Jan Eliasson, former Minister of Foreign Affairs and Herman Mulder, Senior Advisor/Board Member and Former Head of Group Risk, ABN AMRO, The Netherlands. The seminar took place in Stockholm, Sweden.
