The Swedish Postcode Lottery’s vision is to help build a better world for humans, animals and nature. Their business idea is to generate money for charity through selling lottery tickets. The Postcode Lottery gives people the chance to win money together with their neighbours and at the same time help building a better world. The Lottery attracts subscribers through active marketing, TV entertainment and large lottery prizes. The more lottery tickets they sell, the more money they can donate to their beneficiaries.

Municipality of Sigtuna
Sigtuna is Sweden’s first town. It was founded in 970 AD during an exciting era of change. The town became a foundation for the nascent monarchy and today Sigtuna literally rests on a thousand years of history. Archaeological excavations constantly provide new knowledge about the life of the town and its many international relations.
Beautifully located on the shore of Lake Mälaren, the town of Sigtuna is today characterized by its proximity to nature, lush gardens and parks, picturesque wooden buildings from the 18th century and its international atmosphere.
The main town in the municipality is Märsta, strategically situated between Uppsala and Stockholm. Märsta has developed from a small community around the railway station into an attractive park town with a great choice of housing and excellent transport facilities. New residential areas are emerging with a combination of beautiful flats, terraced homes and detached homes with the countryside on the doorstep. The municipality of Sigtuna has over 41.000 inhabitants. It is a young and multicultural municipality. One in three people living here is under 25 years and a third of the inhabitants have their origin in other countries. With its 16.000 jobs, Arlanda Airport and its surrounding area is by far the largest workplace in the municipality. The wide range of conference facilities in the municipality also provide plenty of jobs. The new and expanding logistics centre in Rosersberg has become an important industrial area providing a lot of work opportunities. Sigtuna is Sweden’s first climate neutral destination and a Fair Trade City.

Since its start in 1917, the Sigtuna Foundation has been a venue for meetings and it is today well renowned for its hotel and conference facilities. Sigtuna Foundation hosts participants in conferences arranged both by the Foundation and outside organizations, institutions and companies. It also welcomes researchers and authors including recipients of the Foundation´s scholarship for writers as well as individual guests who come for rest and recreation.

Steninge Palace Shops & Events is housed in the Stone Barn fom 1873, where the home furnishings jostle with cultural features and a restaurant in a unique historic setting. The palace have a number of highly popular occasions throughout the year, such as the Children's National Holiday, different theme weekends and our ever-popular Christmas market.
The palace was built in 1705 by nobleman Carl Gyllenstierna and Queen Hedvig Eleonora. The Queen summoned the royal architect Tessin the Younger to design the palace, and the court painter Ehrenstrahl to complete the imposing ceiling painting situated above the grand staircase. Steninge Palace is situated outside Märsta only 30 minutes drive from Stockholm and Uppsala.
